The Directorate of Quality Assurance and Ranking

The Jordanian Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions (AQACHEI) seeks to upgrade the level of performance of higher education institutions, to enhance their competitiveness at the national, regional and global levels and to make sure they apply the Jordanian accreditation, quality criteria, and lay down criteria/ measures for assuring their continued sustainability and competitiveness. To do that, AQACHEI trusted  the Directorate for Quality Assurance and Ranking (DQAR) to set and apply quality assurance criteria for the Jordanian higher education institutions, collages and programs. Moreover, the Directorate runs the Jordanian University Ranking. It also monitors the process of issuing the certificate of Quality Assurance in higher education institutions, collages and programs. DQAR also raises and spreads the the awareness of culture of the quality assurance and ranking among the Jordanian higher education institutions by conducting several workshops and training programs both in the Commission and Universities.
